Your First Visit Should Feel Welcoming, Not Overwhelming
Starting chiropractic care — especially for the first time — can feel like stepping into the unknown. At Restoration, we’ve designed your first visit to be clear, unhurried, and focused on answering your questions. Plan for about 45 to 75 minutes, and here’s exactly what to expect from the moment you arrive.

New Patient Paperwork
All new patients complete an intake form so our team understands your health history before your visit. You can download the forms from our website, fill them out at home, and bring them with you — which saves about 20 minutes at the office.
If you prefer, you can also complete the paperwork when you arrive. Either way, we’ve got you covered.
Consultation & Health History
This is where we learn about you. One of our doctors will sit down with you to talk through your health history, current concerns, and what brought you in. We’ll discuss your short-term goals (like specific pain relief) and long-term goals (like staying active with your family or improving overall wellness).
Come prepared to share openly — the more we understand, the better we can serve you.
Nervous System Evaluation
We perform a comprehensive evaluation using NASA-certified scanning technology to assess how your nervous system is functioning. This is followed by a detailed spinal exam that helps us identify exactly where any misalignments or interference might be affecting your health.
The entire process is non-invasive, painless, and takes about 15 minutes.
Digital X-rays
We take on-site digital X-rays to get a precise picture of your spinal health. Digital imaging uses significantly less radiation than traditional film and the images are available immediately for review.
We skip X-rays if you’re pregnant or a small child — we’ll rely on our hands-on exam and scanning technology instead.
Doctor’s Report of Findings
This is your opportunity to learn what we found and how we’ll help you move forward. Your doctor will walk you through your evaluation and X-ray results in plain language, explain our technique, and outline a personalized care plan built around your health history, current concerns, and goals.
There’s no pressure — just a clear plan and all the information you need to make a decision.
Your First Treatment
You’ll receive your first adjustment on the same visit. Our primary technique is Torque Release Technique (TRT) — a gentle, specific approach using a specialized instrument that involves no twisting or cracking. You remain in a neutral position the entire time.
Most new patients feel a difference before they leave. Kids, seniors, and everyone in between love their adjustments.
