The New Patient Process
Comprehensive Consultation
Treating your injury at Restoration Chiropractic begins with a comprehensive consultation and evaluation. You’ll tell us specifics about the event that caused your injury, describe the pain you’re suffering, and tell us about any other problems (like sleep issues or dizziness) that you’ve experienced since the event occurred.
We’ll review your medical history and request any pertinent medical records. Then we’ll perform a full-body, neurological and physical examination that may include X-rays to help us fully diagnose and care for your injuries.
Corrective Phase
During the corrective phase of your journey to health, we will perform gentle, specific chiropractic adjustments that restore your brain’s ability to communicate with the rest of the body. These precise adjustments are what allow the body to heal itself.
Scheduled Maintenance
As true correction occurs over time, your spine begins to stabilize and your nervous system thrives. This is when optimal health is expressed and truly achieved!
You will have scheduled re-evaluations built into your care so that we can continually monitor progression and celebrate your improvement! This stage of care is tailored to each practice member. Your work, school, and extra-curricular demands will determine what you need to stay at your best!

All of the doctors at our Prosper chiropractic office are board certified through the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners (TBCE). Additionally, they all have certifications through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) to serve children from birth to adulthood and are all specialized through Webster certification to care for women during pregnancy and in post-partum. Took my newborn in at a month old because he was twisting his head so significantly in one direction and looking that way 90+% of the time... We had had him adjusted right after being born but moved to the area and located this practice close to our... house. Having about 4 adjustments in one month helped him do away with his preferential neck twisted posture preference. I have had back pain on and off for about 10-12 years. I always turned to spinal injections in the past. This last one didn’t work. I went to see Dr Jake at a friend’s recommendation. Their style of adjustments are what I would call minimalistic and... unlike any prior chiropractor I have ever visited. Initially I was skeptical but the bottom line is they worked! One of the most intentional and caring chiropractors I have EVER been too!When most people think of Chiropractors, they think of twisting, pulling, rotating, and coming in whenever there is pain. However, I have never had a facility sit me down and... intentionally explain to me that there is more to chiropractic than just "pain management".It is all about having a regulated nervous system and allowing your body to heal from within SO THAT pain, dysfunction, stress, and other causes to health issues can be and stay regulated and in a lot of cases heal.
